I didn't see a thread for this yet. According to AllEars starting in March dinner will be 2 TS credits. I thought it was only a matter of time, but it is only for dinner. That will make lunch even harder to get into for sure. That is when we always go cause it is easier to get in and then we can walk off our big meal.

It is interesting, 2 credits at dinner and only 1 at lunch.

We've never actually had dinner there because I prefer the lunch menu (even though a lot of it is the same there are minor differences and the prices are less) but I can't really see this being a 2 TS credit meal. If they are going to charge 2TS credits for it I hope that they go back to the portion sizes that they used to have. The 'chocolate moose' used to almost stretch the diameter of the plate and now it looks like a mini moose. ;)

I'm still hoping that we'll see the end of the DDP soon.

Maybe we should change our ADR's to include LeCellier for dinner on our upcoming trip in November to take advantage of only having to use on TS (or just have lunch, either way :confused3). I would love to dine there but my DS27 is a vegetarian and wasn't sure if they really had anything good to offer him.

If this is true, that makes me happy. We will be able to still use 1 TS for the meal we have booked for January! :)

That's a key point, how much more will they charge for the non-dp people?

You might not have much luck getting this restaurant so close to your vacation time.

This is just a rumor! My friend confirmed it. She went in June and asked them and they told them it is just a rumor and is not moving up to a 2 credit service.

It will just make getting lunch adrs impossible and adrs for Coral Reef and GArden Grill harder than they are already

My thoughts exactly, We have never used the DP prefer paying OOP but have yet to eat at the "signature restaurants" for dinner due to what seems to be overpriceing

Good thing we are trying Le Cellier this trip for the first and what will probally be last time now

Where did you see the announcement on all ears? I cant find it anywhere.

I kind of doubt it would remain 1 credit for lunch, none of the other two credit places have that kind of system and it would be a bit of a nightmare IMO.

I don't know where its at on the allears website but they posted it on Facebook. Its says 2 credits for dinner only.

It was an update on their facebook page.

I think this is going to hurt Le Cellier for dinner as it is popular but the reviews are hit and miss I haven't eaten there looking forward to my lunch ADR for Dec. but I question whether or not people are going to want to spend their 2 table credits this way or not??? Just a though.

I can't imagine Le Cellier as a 2 credit restaurant unless they change their menu. Their prices are pretty much in line with other EPCOT restaurants so I am not sure what would warrant 2 credits at this point. It would also make it the only 2 credit restaurant in EPCOT.

It may not be. Disney CMs in EPCOT have been saying for 4 months that this is coming.

Anyone have a link? I can't find the info on their FB page and the official Disney site still shows 1TS.

Well, much as we like Le Cellier, don't think I'd waste 2 TS credits to have dinner there. It's not THAT good, and it is definitely missing all of the key ingredients that might warrant getting a "signature" status as a 2 TS meal. The menu is not extensive or unusual...the ambiance/decor is not extra special...the location is not spectacular...there's no entertainment. Just because it has limited table-space does not make it a signature experience, IMO.

Will be curious to see if this actually happens...so many reports that "CMs" say this & "CMs" say that, and contradictory, of course. Remember all the "reports" that the characters were being restored to LTT? All kinds of "sources" and "my neighbor's cousin's sister's kid is a CM and says..."

And this year, all the reports that the Dining Plans were dropping desserts, and losing refillable mugs, etc.

It would be a PR nightmare to assign signature status only to dinner. I assume if they were going to go 2 credits, it'd be for both meals. Otherwise, can you imagine the confusion? And what would it's listing be on the website? Signature (Dinner only). Very very confusing.

Raise the prices, increase the portions, and make it signature for both meals.
