Wow! I could fall asleep just sitting here!

Finally, we are leaving tonite and I really want to be more excited. We have a long drive ahead of us and will probably take off around 9 pm so the kids can sleep. Then we will stop somewhere tomorrow for the evening/night and arrive in Orlando on Sunday morning!

I don't have time for a nap, although I really should take one.

Just wanted to thank each of you here on this board for your time and answers. You have made my preparation for this trip very exciting and probably complete. There was never a question left unanswered.

I just wish that my DH, DS and DD were more excited that they seem to be. I'm the kind of person who is just too affected by other people's moods.....anyway thanks again and I will post again once I get home.

I'll be keeping an eye open for LIME GREEN!!!!:bounce:

Wow! I even spelled exhausted wrong in my thread title. Sorry!!!!

Wow, obnurse, you sound like me; Worn out before the trip even starts. As a fellow Illini... I certainly don't envy you the 18 hour drive time, but.. it is SOO worth it. :smooth:

drive carefully, and have a fun time!!!

We are lucky and flying down this year. Only 50 more days to wait.

We are leaving Monday. I know what kind of state of mind you are in! My kids, too, seem less excited now than they did a month ago. But, I think we've been talking about it so long that they are tired of being excited. I don't think kids can sustain that amount of enthusiasm without reward for very long. But, just wait until you walk onto Main Street USA!! You will all be very excited (and not so tired) then!! Have a great trip. Here's hoping for NO RAIN!!

I hope you can catch a nap in the car. I'm always sleep deprived by the time I arrive in Orlando and if you can avoid that you will have more fun.

Have a magical trip!

I am leaving tonight at 3:30 a.m.! Flying to Minneapolis to meet my cousin who is flying up from Des Moines. From there to Orlando! I'm not even going with DH and kids, and I'm exhausted anyway! Wear your DIS lime green at WDW! By the way, we have driven from IOWA a few times. Just take your time and try to enjoy!

I'm gonna miss you guys!!!!:(

At least I know that when I get home, you will all be here for support: post-Disney blues!!!!!!

We're leaving next Friday, driving also, and I know how you feel! You're so tired before you even start! I'm usually more excited than the rest of the family as well. Well... sometimes DH is more excited to go than me :D I've turned him into such a Disneyholic... I love it!

Have a WONDERFUL trip!!

Trying to get everyone and everything ready for a big trip is always exhausting. It also seems like it takes us a full day once we are there to really believe we are at WDW. Once you get there and lay claim to your room and get a good nights sleep everyone's excitement will soar. Have a great time.
