Have a great trip! I used to drive from Victoria, TX--- around 1000 miles. It used to amaze me that some people had a shorter drive when they lived in the Northeast United States when Victoria,TX was exactly even with Orlando on the map. If I could have figured out how to drive straight across the Gulf of Mexico, I could have saved some time but that pesky water got in the way.
