Leaving tonight, but the roads out of town are closed!

Ack!!! We're supposed to leave tonight, but we live in Wyoming where we just got a foot of snow last night and all the roads out of town are closed! I checked the weather channel and it looks like it's supposed to snow all day!

What the heck are we going to do???

WOW! I just never really think about how it could still be cold and snowing in other parts of the country.... now my snowboard blues are coming back!

Can you sleep at a hotel that is out of your town, that possable doesn't have snow?
Probably dumb question, but thought I bring it up anyways.
If i was flying and the airport was okay, i would leave early for the airport and sleep in there!

Well...I think it may be letting up. We are supposed to drive to CO tonight to spend the night with my family and then we fly out at 5am. So...I think we'll probably be okay! The roads are all closed except one that cuts through a mountain valley...it will take about 4 extra hours to get where we're going, but to me it's worth it to get out of here! We are going to wait a little longer to see if any of the main roads open up. This is crazy!

I'm sure we'll be fine though! Thanks for all your happy thoughts!! WDW here we come!

Good heavens! I was complaining about summer being slow to arrive here in PA! I pray that your journey is quick and enjoyable. I'll see you there and I'll be sure to look for the family that are still frozen popcicles

I remember driving through Wyoming in one of the worst snowstorms I ever saw. -- and it was right after school let out in early June!!! Drive carefully.
