Can I ask for my GAC pass to state "aisle seat please" ?

My ds has sensory issues and he often has a fright/flight response when startled. I figure we'll be much less disruptive to everyone if he's on an aisle and we can quickly sneak off without bothering anyone. He also does better if he doesn't feel "packed in". I will gladly move to the end of my row if it means we get an aisle seat for him!

Does anyone know if CM's will do this for us if we can't get it on the GAC? I am getting the GAC specifically for shows as he should be o.k. (I hope) otherwise

I don't know if the GAC will say exactly that, they are stamped with premade stamps. Ask them how to best handle the GAC.

BUT, my DS has anxiety/panic attacks and a sudden noise or issue could make him bolt as well so I understand.

In lines we place him in the middle of us, so he has to go though one of us first. In wait rooms, we try to stay by a wall and we all stand back from him creating his own little space.

At shows be VERY CLEAR to the CM when you go in what the issue is, the stamp may not reflect it. We had a problem at Philharmonic (actually have had several problems there over the years) where I was trying to get him to that seat on my own by allowing others to go first and we would have sat on the end (where no one wants to sit anyway). Then a problem began with a CM and only when I decided to take him out of the theater due to her rudeness and the scene she was creating (which was upsetting him) did another CM come up and seat us appropriately.....although at that point it was too late and he was upset. Now I know to make it perfectly clear when I enter where we are trying to sit, it is for his benefit and the others around him should we have to leave.

We used the GAC for exactly this reason. We simply stated that our son is prone to anxiety attacks and we may need to exit an attraction quickly since we don't know what will set him off.

I have no idea what they placed on the GAC, but we had no problems speaking with the CM's prior to entering an attraction. We simply asked the CM if we could be seated in the back row, end seat and we were always accommodated. We actually did have him bolt on three attractions: Muppets, Philharmonic and Little Mermaid.

We found the CM's to be very kind and very helpful during our last visit.

Also, if loud noises are a problem, you might want to consider ear plugs or ear defenders (you may already use these, but I thought I'd mention it, just in case).
