Leaving Tomorrow - Just about set

We leave tomorrow for a week at AKV. Thankfully the wife has us all packed and ready to go. The weather here in upstate NY is miserable, rainy and cold. The forecast looks excellent for the upcoming week - I just cant wait to finally get there...at least I can watch the Yankee game tonight and keep my mind off things.

Just getting a grocery list together, to make a stop before we hit the resort. This time tomorrow I hope to be at the pool, and then it will be off to Boma to kick off our week.

I love this board, thanks for all your suggestions and ideas. We decided to do MNSSHP because of some posts, so it will be nice to do something new. A nice relaxing week cruising the parks, and events, Food & Wine Fest here I come.

Hope to have an interesting trip report for you all when we return. All the planning and now it is finally here!!!

Aww-I'm so envious. I just returned from AKV Tuesday and had breakfast at Boma that day. I already wish I was going back. Make sure you check out the ceramics painting and jewelry making activities at Simba's Cubhouse. They're lots of fun! Wish I was back at AKV already!

Hey eporter66, I know what you mean about the weather.... nasty here too, I'm just down the northway a couple miles from you.
DH and I are leaving bright and early Monday for a week at the BWV and some good food at the Food and Wine Fest ourselves!!

I'll be leaving tomorrow from the Capital Region (Niskayuna) too. Looking forward to leaving this cold rain behind. We'll be at SSR for a quick mini-trip.

Got back from AKV almost two weeks ago - it was our first DVC trip and first time there. Loved it! Have to go back to try Boma. We did eat at Jiko and Sanaa and loved both. The weather was gorgous when we were there. It should be a nice break from the weather in NY for you. Have a great trip.
