Can we take our daughter's albuterol inhaler in her carry on? These regulations can be a challenge.

I have never had a problem - I have mine in my purse. I actually did not give it a second thought and noone said anything. We have flown out of Buffalo and from Canada into the USA. HTH.

Have the original box with prescription label just in case they look but I doubt if it will be an issue. My wife uses that and has never had a problem.

Just what I wanted to hear - I do have the box - however mutilated it is - why don't they just stick the sticker on the inhaler itself? That bugs me! Thank you both for your quick replies!

I think you still need to put it in the 1-quart ziploc bag that you are allowed to carry on the plane.

This is exactly what we did with ours and had no problems. I alos do believe that putting it in the bag is required.

The inhaler needs to go into a quart bag, but DOES NOT COUNT in your one quart bag allowance. It can have it's own bag.

That said, I have yet to take mine out of the bottom of my pocketbook, and I have yet to have anyone blink an eye on it. I don't have the prescription box either. Same thing with my Epi-Pen, although I do have the script label on that, I had the pharmacist print out an extra.
