We have 2 boys almost 1 and almost 2.5. We will need to bring a bag full of essentials like camera, sunblock etc. We also need diapers, wipes and changes of clothes as well as there cups and bottles. I would never leave anything of value but what do you think of me leaving a small bag with the diapers and wipes in the stroller while we go on the rides?

NO problem. That's what most people do. I'd leave everything (sunblock, food, cups, diapers, etc) in a larger sized bag, diaper bag, or backpack hanging on the stroller. Then carry a fanny pack with your park tickets, camera, and money. Take the fanny pack on the rides with you and leave the rest behind.

We've done that each time we've gone and never had problems.

We do leave things in the stroller but we did have an umbrella stolen once when we were in Legend of the Lion King during a downpour. Hope they enjoyed it while my kids were in the rain. :rolleyes1

I've been going to WDW for 30+ years and have never had anything stolen from a stroller. Of course, I've never left things of any real value unattended. However, losing a backpack with changes of clothing, sunscreen, diapers, etc. has never worried me.

We have also always left diaper bag/snack bag in the stroller when it is parked. I only take the camera and money/tickets with us onto the rides. I have never had anything stolen either. :flower2:

That is exactly what we do, and have never had any problems either!! :sunny:

Thats what we do to, never had anything taken.

We haven't either, but I wouldn't leave anything valuable in there. Not only do strollers themselves occationally get stolen, there are a finite number of strollers on the market and your Graco Duoglide looks just like someone elses. The person could be halfway across the park before they notice that "hey, that isn't my bag stashed under the stroller." By that time, you've gone looking for your stroller and decided it was stolen (there's might be right there, but you checked for your diaper bag!). I suspect this is as common as actual stolen strollers. (Hint, tie a ribbon or bandana or something to your stroller to make it easy to spot - and easy for others to realize "that isn't my stroller.")

We did have our backpack stolen out of a stroller once. It was just being used for diaper stuff and snacks nothing valuable, but it was annoying and inconvenient just the same. I would suggest diaper type stuff in a zip lock, so the would-be thief would know there is nothing of value from the start.

Never had anything taken from stroller. I take cameras and money, of course, with me. I never worry about it.

52 days and counting! :jumping1:

I've also heard of putting a sign on the seat of the stroller when parked, that says "THIS IS NOT YOUR STROLLER". So if it is similar to someone else's, and they go to put there child in it they will see the sign and know it is not theirs. Store the sign underneath when stroller is being used.

We have never had anything taken from our strollars and leave quite a bit of stuff in them. I would definately "mark" your strollar is someway. First it makes it easy to find in the sea of strollars. Second if it is a disney rental- they ALL look the same- so tie a bandana, a balloon or something from it so that you can find it. I think larger strolllars are "harder" to be picked up by someone else than the umbrella ones- although the umbrellas are more conveinant. I have 2 strollar children- I generally bring a larger more comfortable one for them to share off and on and an umbrella that can be collapesed on to the bigger strollar when it is not needed- one less thing to push. :cheer2:

I don't leave my camera or tickets in the stroller though. I have a friend who told me on their last trip someone stole her brand new stroller and left the same model, just much older in the same place...(not nice if you ask me).

I bought a new umbrella stroller for my last trip and I took some fabric paint and put our last name on the canopy and that way I know someone else won't take it. :rotfl2:

I also do that with our luggage...
