leaving the same day as being at the parks? help please???

We did it just fine last time but our flight didn't leave until 9pm.
My advice is just to not push it with the rides if it's getting late. We were on LwTL on our last trip and it broke down and a woman with her son was flipping out because they had a flight home to get too. She kept trying to get off of the boat and he CMs kept telling her to sit down. She eventually grabbed her son's hand and got off the boat running into the greenhouse with CMs trailing her. Not a plan I'd recommend.

We came back last week and our flight was at 6PM. We did AK on departure day. You can pretty much ride everything and be done by 2pm if you rope drop, and still get a lunch in at AK.

The morning of departure we dropped our luggage w/ bell service at GF. We arrived back at the GF just prior to 3.30PM and our uber picked us up at 4pm. We were at airport just before 4.30, and waiting by the gate by 4.45pm. We had PreCheck & clear so airport waits were non-existent.

I would say make sure you leave the hotel 2hrs before flight if you don't have any type of tsa Precheck. Also leaving the parks around 45mins prior would be good, but you never know how long the next bus will run.
