We just decided late last night to take a quick trip and are leaving Sunday. I'm used to having a lot more time to plan when we go to WDW and having my dining reservations done months in advance. I've been so busy today I completely forgot to call. Do you think we'll be okay to just wait until we get there or do I really need the reservations? The only places we really want to go are to The Plaza for breakfast and do one table service dinner. Any ideas?

Thanks!!
Tanya

Plaza should be no problem.. The table service dinner depends on where you want to eat. I would guess the only place you might have a problem would be if you wanted Blue Bayou.

I don't know how often you've been to DL but you might want to try one of the resturants in the hotels as a possiblity as well.

Just call tomorrow! Doesn't hurt to try and get reservations one day ahead

We are leaving Sunday too!! :cool1:
we made all of our ressies 2 weeks ago and were told everything was wide
open so we got to choose whatever :) we have also had good luck making sameday ressies at CO and BTRBBQ. So I would say call today if there are places you really want to eat at and play the rest by ear :wizard:

so Is there a central phone number you can call for resv?,or do you have to call each place

Unlike WDW where ADR's are almost a must, you can get PS (DLR ressies) at DLR a lot easier. Many times I've called the morning of, or day before, if we are planning on doing a sit-down meal while at DLR for the day. Some of the more popular (Blue Bayou, Ariel) make require a day or so more.

This is a slower time period for DLR so the crowds are low.

Do expect that Friday, the 19th, will be more crowded. (If you'll still be there) The Electric Parade is premiering at DCA that night and you can expect locals to come see it. I'll be there to watch my DNephew perform. :cloud9:

Have fun, the weather should be great all week-you are so lucky. :sunny:

I called today and was able to get exactly what I wanted with no problems. I guess I'm just used to WDW where you have to call months in advance or nothing is left.

Thanks everyone!

Cool!:cool1: Yep, WDW is far different from DLR when it comes to dining.
