Hi - heading to the world next April/May with our DS2 who will need a stroller, diaper bag, etc.. Just wondering how many people feel safe leaving their diaper bags on the stroller (ours hangs off the handle) or other baby related things. I of course, would keep my purse, camera and any other valuables on me. For some reason I'm always paranoid about things being stolen - including the stroller itself!

I've always left our bag of stuff under the stroller and we've never had a problem. I keep my camera and our money/tickets on us but other than that, if someone really wants my stroller and the diaper bag, then by all means, have at it.

I would never leave anything of real value, camera, money, etc. and it doesn't sound like that is your plan either. But I do leave the diaper bag. I've never had a problem, but if anyone needs diapers that bad, they're welcome to them. ;) I also wouldn't leave opened food. That is just scary.

we've never had a problem with anything going missing. I think you will be safe leaving a diaper bag in the stroller.

I have always left the diaper bag in the stroller, and have never had any problems. Actually, on this trip, we kept forgetting about our video camera, and I would say it was left in the stroller about 65% of the time. We are still amazed the thing came home with us.

We left our back pack/diaper bag on our strollers and it was just fine. I had a pocket sized camera and of course had our tickets on me, but left the snacks, diapers, and what not in the bag. Also the kids had the big Mickey balloons we tied to the strollers and we came home with those as well.

Just be sure anything you leave is something that is replaceable just in case.

Have a great trip!

Same here. We always leave our diaper bag and cooler in the stroller - usually on the seat or hanging off the back. We take anything of value with us.

On both of our trips we left a bag of non-valuables and other stuff on the stoller and did not have any issues with anything disappearing.

We've gone 3 times and always left the diaper bag and cooler in the stroller and never had a problem either. We've also left jackets and swaetshirts too. I agree with not leaving open food. Last year we were in Tomorrow Land and the birds were picking at a pretzel or something that someone left in their stroller.

We've gone twice so far with a diaper bag/stroller. I always move the bag into the seat of the stroller when we leave it.

We went one time and parked our stroller outside of one of the exhibits at EPCOT. While we were in the exhibit, it started to rain. When we came out of the exhibit, someone else had taken our stroller. Since we had the receipt for renting the stroller, we were able to get our deposit back.

I was a little paranoid at first... the first couple days I took our things with us when I left the stroller. Toward the end I just left them in the basket. There were plenty of strollers with more "enticing" things left in them in plain sight than mine so I wasn't worried.

We too left it all in the stroller. Although, like another poster, I was more worried about someone getting the stroller, rather than the diaper bag. We took our own from home, a Peg Plinko 3.

DH told me that everyone at WDW is on vacation, and paid a lot to get in the parks and he didn't think anybody would steal the stroller. So we just left it and the diaper bag there and took another smaller bag, with our valuables in it with us to rides, shows, etc.. No one ever bugged a thing, except sometimes the CM's move the stollers around and use tend to lose yours. But we had a big Mickey balloon, so we would just look for that, others had balloons too, but it did help.
