Leaving soon, POR ??

We leave for WDW and POR in 2 weeks and now I'm getting a bit nervous. So if anyone can answer my questions, I'd appreciate it.

1. What is the weather like at this time of year? My assumption is that we need everything from long sleeves and jackets to shorts and tshirts.

2. What is POR's fax number? I want to fax a room request, which leads to question 3.

3. We have reserved a trundle bed so I know we will be in AB. I do not want to be on top of a parking lot so I'm thinking of requesting a NS top floor (preferably a corner room) in buildings 25, 26 or 28. I'd love to hear from someone about these buildings. How long is the walk to the food court and to a bus stop? My kids are 3, 6 and almost 8. It is more important for our room to be quiet (so they will sleep) than for us to be next to the food court.

4. What is the traffic like driving to the parks?

I know I have more last minute questions, but these are the most important at the moment. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

I can answer a couple of questions.

We stayed in Alligator Bayou Lodge 25 in November during Thanksgiving. We were in Room 2526 on the first floor facing outward. I guess you could call it a parking lot view but we saw nothing but trees. The West Depot was on the other side of the trees. It was very convenient. We heard the busses drive by but the noise was buffered by the landscaping.

Our room was very quiet. We did not hear our neighbors on either side of us or above us the whole week. It was almost like we were the only ones there, though I know we weren't.

The walk was not bad. You follow a gray brick road to the food court. It was probably a five minute walk. Of course with small children it might be longer. There are plenty of squirrels, birds and rabbits to see along the way. It is a beautiful walk. The only shortcut would be through the parking lots. My husband and son decided that following the path was just to slow for them but they never got back to the room much earlier than we did.
