Don't worry...it's okay. We know exactly where we're staying. In 2004 we stayed in the Fantasia Bldg. The day we arrived, we walked around the entire resort checking it out & taking (lots of) pix. We know how far the walk is, but DS has requested a view of Herbie....he's all boy and "into" cars ....what can I say?

We spent our stay at Sports because of the boys' involvement in baseball and football. They had a blast, but I would much rather have stayed at AS music. Next time, my choice! (and since they'll be too old to go with us, that shouldn't be too hard to accomplish!

I was fortunate enough to encounter 2 UO employees walking out of the construction site. They told me that THEY were told it would be open for race week. It's supposed to open Feb. 12th and the grand opening Feb. 14th. I took these pix Friday, and by Saturday, the sidewalk was poured and hardening. Them guys are working pretty much around the clock...we saw them as late as 8:30-9:00pm on Saturday night working in there!

Hi bubba's mom! Welcome back! Thanks for finding out about NASCAR. That opening date would be great and in time for our next trip. They made great progress since I last saw it. Cool pics!

You son is such a cutie and always smiling, did he have a great time? I was thinking of you when that cold wet weather rolled through but I'm glad to see it didnt ruin your fun. Based on all the questions you answered for all of us and all the pics you took for us I can assume this was a working trip, right? Just charge it to the expense account.

According to my AP mailer, Feb 6th-14th is Nascar Week.
Today and Tomorrow you can go and see The Intimidators car, thats right...old number 3 from 9a.m. to 3 p.m. inside the rotunda of Universals Cineplex 20. And Jr's #8 will be in the parking garage hub until the 14th at the same times. Then on the 12th from 6-8 JJ Yeley will be at the Nascar Sports Grille (new name).

Actually he had a pretty good time....even tho he was really sick & tired of us say "smile" to take his pic! We took a lot of pictures, and he was tired of saying "cheese"...he was a good sport about it tho!

EXPENSE ACCOUNT?!?!?!?! We gots one of those???? I'd like to withdraw........ j/k ........ I didn't consider it a working trip.....we happened upon the pool at HRH, so while I was there.....we walked past NASCAR quite a few times......walked past BTTF once or twice.....only "job" i didn't really do well was get a pic of the lighthouse at dusk (never seemed to be near it at the time). I told y'all I had a list....don't make me take a pic of it and post it too! (Have to post that pic requested by someone who wanted a pic of the path to Me Ship the Olive...almost forgot that one.....)

Thank you, thank you.......and yes, you can say that on this board! We had a very good time...despite a few raindrops....first time in 4 years of going I actually had to break out the ponchos! I posted pix of BTTF on this thread: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1341265&page=2 (post #24) ...... no Homer .....sorry!
I will be doing my trip report on Sunday, as it's my only day off!!! (Might get to it sometime Saturday, IF I have a short day at work.....)...but, I WILL do one and post pix....I gots lots of pix
