We leave in 6 days :):)

We are driving down to Seattle and flying out of SeaTac to Orlando.
We do have one stop in Charlotte, NC. Its about and hour or so stop.

Do we need to collect our luggage in NC when we change planes or do they do that for us?

We have the same thing coming back too, just the other way around.

Thanks!

The airline (I assume US Airways, if you're flying through Charlotte) will transfer your baggage for you to the new aircraft and you will pick it up in Orlando. When the agent tags your bags in Seattle, you'll notice that the label will including both the CLT code for Charlotte and the MCO code for Orlando along with the flight numbers, so that the baggage handlers in Charlotte know to put it on another plane.

Thank you so much for the reply!
Here is our flight itinerary.
Does anyone know if it means anything that my flight home was changed from one listing (like the 1 to orlando), to two seperately listed flights?

You can always ask the Travel Agency that booked it for you, but if you booked the entire trip all at once on the same itinerary, and you only specified the start and end points, then it should all be connecting flights.

When I look up those flights on United's own website, it shows them as connecting flights, so your bags should go all the way.

The last chance to make sure of this is at the Orlando airport. Ask the attendant when you check in if your bags are being checked through to your final destination of Seattle. They will tell you. Also, the tags on your bags will show both CLT and SEA on them if your bags are going straight through.
