Leaving our men for Mickey!

Hey all you DISers!
So my name is Tinker and this is my pre-trip report for our GIRLS ONLY excursion to the land of D! Why girls only you ask? Simple! My friend Steph and I both have boyfriends who dislike Disney. They are both constantly teasing us for our love of the Disney and what fun would that be in the happiest place on earth? No fun at all! that is why they have been xed out of the equation! No party poopers allowed! oh and I forgot to mention our boyfriends just happen to be best friends so they like to gang up on us when it comes to teasing! to them!

Anyway! the girls coming along are Me, Steph, Elise, and Jessica. We are all in our early 20's and we all love Disney(Steph and I more than the others) The plans right now are a little shaky becuase we are still trying to get organized. Jessica, however, has been hooking us up with some cool deals! First with our tickets becuase she can get a Military discount! and then second with the hotel, she found an awesome deal with a hotel near the park for only $69 a night!!!!! The place is called the Desert Inn suites and may I just say thank you to Jessica for her wonderful bargain deals! I know this Hotel is a good place becuase Jessica said she stayed there before and I trust her judgement completely. We plan on going April 11th through the 13th and are driving down there in my car. I am just waiting for my money to come in so that I can get this trip really started! but that is how much we have planned out so far. It is a good start, I think.

We have a few major goals to accomplish on this trip...
1. to have a good time boy free!!!
2. to ride every ride in the park in two days.

Do you think we can do it? I think we can!

so.. who is this amazing Steph?? that would be me! longish time DISer and life time Disney fan! I made Amanda sign up on the DIS board and now we are unstoppable!! but it took Amanda like FOREVER to write up the first post and I had so many things in my head to write but now I am sleepy.. so I will leave you with some pictures to put faces to names..

so I did some researching on the Desert inn Suites and it looks really cool.. and it says its right scroos the street from DL! so we can walk to the park and not have to pay for parking or deal with the traffic!! that will be awesome! and it has a roof toop viewing deck to watch the fireworks! I want to watch them from the park tho!!

I'm almost crying!!! I think we can do it! we have eliminated some rides and shows we dont want/need to do... its tough to be a bug being one of them.. and we have some rides that we absolutly HAVE to do.. and as long as we knock those ones out then i think I will be happy.. and I have a list of things i need to buy that I didnt get last time.. general things.. but things i wish i had gotten!

YAY!!!! they still have that Fireworks show going on! We need to go! I have been wanting to see it so bad! I found a video on youtube of it and I would link you but I am not allowed to put links on here yet. But I can tell you about it!! I have the music for it becuase Alyssa got me that 50th Anniversary CD and this fireworks show is through-out the whole park! not just at the castle! Yes we must see the Electrical parade and Pixar Parade. Don't forget Fantasmic!

I think I need to start working on a plan of action in order to get all these rides ridden in two days. it is possible becuase i have done it before at this time of year! we just need an attack plan. the only thing i have worked out is that we need to rush to Finding Nemo on the first day to either get fast passes or if there is no line just jump in it.

I will start working on that attack plan now before I go to work!

Though Skooter may get on before i can post it

YAY!!!! they still have that Fireworks show going on! We need to go! I have been wanting to see it so bad! we are daring! we can fo it!! we just cant have any distractions!!!! if someone falls behind they stay there! unless its me!

yeah our guys dont like Disney and think its all a big joke.. i know my butthead would just complian and whine and just make the trip no fun.. they have both expressed their dislike for Disney so they can both just stay home. and since they have been best friends since they were about 6 or 7 they can entertain each other. i dont feel bad for leaving either one of them "alone"

I've seen WDWs IASW... not as pretty outside! that yoda in the picture with Tink is a backpack! so he gets to ride along at DL with us!

ok.. so I remembered what I was going to type about after it ook Amanda like 10 years to post her introduction!!!!!

a little bit o' history!! now class open our text books to that page that throws us back a few years...

*6th grade in some boring class I cant remember* I'm sitting nicely in my seat.. none of my friends were in this class with me so I was not to happy but I do remember the guy in front of me was a hottie.. yum.. Adam Mondragon... still a hottie to this day! looks absolutly tasty in his marine uniform.. but to crazy to EVER be BF material.. plus I LOVE my butthead.... ok.. back on track... sitting listening to the teacher talk about something.. why does she sound like the teacher on chralie brown?? god her voice kills me.. looking around the class room to find something to focus on that isnt her voice... scanning... yummy Adam.... scanning somemore.... hold up wait a minute.. why is this chick hecka mean muggin me?!?! *bell rings* yay!! off to next class.. so who is this chick mean muggin me and why?!?! yes... it happened to be tinker!! i dont know why.... and I dont know how or why but we became friends... and we have been friends ever since!

and Manda and Elise were friends in high school in drama clas or something.. and I knew who she was and the last few weeks we have been hanging out and ive been getting to know her...

and Amanda goes to school with Jessica and I have never met her.. so we will one day before the trip.. and yeah.. thats my story!!
