My parents are leaving on sunday for a week. My dad is 70 years old and this is his VERY FIRST trip to Disneyworld!! Very excited for him! :cool1:

That is so cool. My dad is 73 and mom is 71. I wish they would go with me and DS 17 but they won't go.

I hope your parents have a great time!

Thank you! He used to love roller coasters but not at this age, he wont do them. Wish he went a long time ago. But there is still SO much to see and do!

Tell him about "Soaring" over at Epcot. OMG. And good for them!!!

DH and I are 67 and 64 and we love our Disney adult only trips. We have 2 planned this year - April/May for Flower and Garden Festival and Dec. for Christmas stuff. We love taking our kids and grands but our trips by ourselves are special. We ride everything except R&RC ( a little too jerky and I do not do upside down). We own DVC at Animal Kingdom Resort and have booked the Wyanmeya Safari for this trip. We have done Keys to the Kingdom and Backstage Magic tours and both were great (and all adult). We also rented a pontoon boat last time at the Contemporary and tooled around the lake for a while. It is a different place when you are older and by yourselves. We have a bucket list of all the things there that we have not seen or experienced. There is not much left on it, but we don't mind do-overs. We are not sedintary people - we like to go and be busy. Life is too short to sit on a beach.
