Leaving on Monday for POR :cool1:

I am counting down the minutes now. We leave on Moday to strat our 65 Birthday trip for my Mom. I am so excited I can hardly stand it. I am not sure if I am as excited for myself or at the thought of showing her all of the things I love and watching her reaction.

Anyone have any tips about our stay at POR? Any advice on transportation, in the parks, things we should do and any other suggestions?

We leave Sunday and are staying at PORiverside. I will be carrying my lil black backpack with a lime green ribbon tied on top.
This is our first time staying at Riverside and I am very excited. I hope to bump into you there.

I will be the one with the Mickey Luggage. I just bought it on Monday from the Disney Store online. It is a 3 piece set, very sturdy, and black with Mickey on each piece. Here is the best part, it was only $39.99 and if you enter the discount code SAVEBIG it takes even more off. The other great things was it came in 3 days. So look for the child like adult female pushing a 65 year old birthday Mom around and that will be us.

You will love POR if it is the same as the last time I was there. The layout is sprawling, comforting and breathtakingly beautiful! The check in area is enormous and looks like something straight out of the movies. The pool is something you would expect if you were hanging out with Tom Sawyer. The rooms in the Bayou are rustic with wooden beds and they have a cabin/Huckleberry Finish feel with all of the modern luxuries. The mansions are glorious and take you back to a time straight out of Gone with the Wind. One of the things we truly enjoyed was being able to take the boats over to DTD. It is just a relaxing ride and the view can't be beat. The buses seem to come constantly (it is one of if not the biggest resort). So as you can tell I am very excited and can't wait to see if my memories af POR hold true. Have a great time!
