Leaving on Friday 12/15, anyone need anything?

Hi DISers--

I'm leaving for DL on Friday. I know that there are occasional requests for things so I thought I'd offer. Does anyone need park maps or other things from DL that I can pick up while I'm there? DH and I will be staying on-site and will have a couple days alone then his whole family will be joining us for a couple days.

Yes, I would LOVE maps for both parks and if you happen to be stopping by city hall anyway( don't make a special trip), 2 first timers buttons and one birthday button. Thanks so much!

Wouldn't that be nice. I am a nice person, but not weathly. I was thinking more along the lines of free items or items that I will be reimbursed for. We will have fun. Thanks for your comment, it made me smile.

This is kind of a special request.

My DS Ryan (7) has the BIGGEST CRUSH on Ariel (The Little Mermaid). He wants to marry her when he grows up.

It would mean the world to him if he received an Ariel postcard or a card of some kind with Ariel's picture on it, and a little note written on it like "I miss you and hope you have a Merry Christmas. Love, Ariel." He wouldn't know the difference if you wrote it, so that would be fine.

I would be happy to reimburse you for the cost of the card and the postage.

You just may be my hero! We returned from WDW two weeks ago and my brother's favorite ride was Soarin, he really wanted to get a souvenir but we never made it back to Epcot. I was browsing ebay and long story short, I am looking for the Soarin name badge with his name on it. It is supposedly only available in Disneyland or CA, not sure which. I really would like to find one for Christmas and would gladly pay for the pin, shipping and any fee for your trouble. The problem may be finding his name spelled right : DERECK, no one around here spells it that way except him.

I'm planning a first trip to DL and CA and would love a map of each! But I fully understand if you've gotten enough requests and want to pass on this one - I can print the pdf version or probably get one from another DISSER.

I finally got all of the addresses for requests and I mailed everything yesterday. Enjoy the maps. I still have 2 more sets of maps if anyone wants them.
