Hi everyone, we are leaving next week. Should I call to verify all of our dining reservations before we go or should they be okay? I made them 6 months ago. Thanks.

I would say no. If by some chance one of them was "lost" due to Disney's fault, I'd rather show up and ask the restaurant to fix it and seat me. If you call and you know it's no longer there, then you don't really have a reason to show up and the dining reservation line can't do anything for you.

Just show up with your confirmation numbers.

Thanks princesswendy...that makes sense. I was kind of thinking that if I called and something was missing then there wouldn't be much I could do about it anyway, except stress out. Thanks.

If you are staying at a WDW resort, you can go the concierge desk near the check-in area and get a print out of all of your dining reservations and confirmation numbers. I did that back in October while staying at POFQ.

We just go with our confirmation numbers. Although I did have to call because my dog literally ate my reservation list. <sigh>

I just called to confirm all the ADRs. Just one less thing to worrying about.

I like to double check on everything before we leave so there wont be any surprises when we get there.:)

I never call, and everything has always been okay for me.

I called last week to confirm our reservations and I am glad I did. They did not have our LibertyTreeTavern under my name, they were able to find it but had we shown up without conf # we would not have gotten in. They also had a reservation in my name for Portobello Yacht Club that I did not make. Not that it was a big deal, but just cancelled it.

I just finished confirming ours. It only took about 2 minutes, the cast member just looked them up by my phone # & offered to read them off to me ( I got the impression that he does it all the time. ) They were all correct, and now I have one less thing to worry about :thumbsup2 . This time next week, we should be there! :dance3::banana:

I already called once and the day before I leave Dec 22 you bet you life I am going to call and confirm:) them

I normally do not call but this time was almost disaster. Showed up to Kona's and they didn't have my ressies. Thery were able to get me in. No big I thought. I then went to Ohana's that night and they said it was for the next night. They again got me in. We loved the food so much we kept the messed up ressie. The next night they were not taking walk ups. I was told that when you check in to the hotel (onsite) go to the conceirge and they can print up your reservations and fix if there is a problem.

If you have your confirmation #'s you are fine.

If they are going to disappear between when you make them and you confirm why wouldn't they disappear between when you confirm and when you get there?

That said, I like to get a printed list from the conceirge when we check into the resort.

I called 2 weeks before my trip to confirm mine and i was so glad i did....my last name was spelled wrong for four of my reservations!
