leaving luggage at wdw while cruising?

We are staying a week at AKL then doing dcl then going back to AKL, we are hoping to leave a suitcase at the hotel while we cruise but we have haven't done this before.

Does anyone have any experience with this? I'm terrified of them loosing it and all the things I would like to leave such as my babies formula which is $50 a tin!!

It is VERY probable that they will be OK with it, especially since you'll be there afterwards. The bag will just sit in their luggage room.

We stayed at POR before our first 3 night cruise, and we were coming back for Universal afterwards. We had a couple bags we didn't need, and POR was more than happy to have our bags stay with them. When we got back we got in our rental, drove to POR, liberated our bags, and moved on to Uni.

I have heard reports from a year or so ago that a couple people were told "no" but I don't know or remember the full stories there.
