Leaving kids In club while you get off ship do or don't?

I would never do it. We choose excursions that are suitable for everyone in the family, because we view our cruise as a chance to spend time together as a family. If an excursion is not suitable for my 3 year old, I don't book it. I can't imagine that I would enjoy going off the ship without my kids anyway. I'd be constantly wondering how they were.
To each their own though.

Thanks everyone for all of the help i know there are a few comments this being one of them...... I would never do it. To each their own though. I am a stay at home mom and i have no help with my children we are with them all the time my son 3 had never spent the night away from us until last week and that was with my mom. So yes i would like to have some alone time with my husband i think we deserve it. Im not saying i would leave them there all day but for a few hours to relax. Thanks everyone for their opinions and info:)

We just returned from a cruise and did it no problem with two youngest on two days. We thought they would come with us but one insisted on staying the first day. Twenty minutes later we had to go back onto the boat and bring the other one back. Changed his mind about wanting to come. Second day both just wanted to stay on the boat while we went on shore. No issues.
