OK, so all my obsessive planning is starting to feel as if I have done NOTHING in preparation for this trip!
What are your top items NOT TO FORGET for your trip?

#1 - Handi-wipe packets. I carry them in my messenger bag & we use them before we stop & eat. Your hands are constantly touching things all over WDW & you want to try & prevent any germs if you can.

#2 - long pants & shorts. You've got to be prepared for any type of weather.

#3 - flip-flops for the waterparks/pool

#4 - disposable cameras for the kids & waterproof ones for the waterparks

#5 - Ziploc bags...needed for everything

#6 - goggles - for the kids for the waterparks/pools

I leave on Friday and I am freaking out!! It seems like time actally speeds up in the few days before you leave, doesn't it? I hope I don't forget all the crap I bought for this trip.... :rotfl2:  :lmao: :lmao:

Have a great trip! Don't forget to have your mail and newspaper picked up while you are gone. Haven't seen any reminders for this tip. All the others listed are right on the mark. Enjoy the magic!

Thanks to everyone for their great ideas and well wishes, much appreciated.
Maymom, I feel exactly the same way. I'd like to think that all the planning I did was great, yet all of a sudden I have a million last-minute questions and feel like I've done nothing over the last few months (OK, truth time: LOTS of months!) We leave at 12 am on Friday, hoping the kiddos will sleep most of the way to Atlanta, our midway stopping point. Have lots of fun and enjoy the pixie dust! :wizard:

Don't forget the batteries for camera or the recharger for the batteries for the camera. I forgot our recharger and the extra batteries, and DH had to but them in Epcot. $16 for the lithium batteries for the digital cameras....My fault for fogetting the recharger.

We too leave in just a few days on Saturday. I packed the kids suitcase last night and feel like I'm forgetting something. I've made a list, but I'm sure that when I do the final packing Friday I'll forget something. We're really getting excited. The one thing I did find was rain ponchos for .50 cents a piece at a crafts store on clearance. I bought a bunch so we could just pitch them when we're done with them. Also, band aids. And tink gifts. And disposable cameras. And a million other things. Good luck and hope you have lots of fun.

My top do not forgets:

BATTERIES and CHARGING CORDS!!!!!! It is very disappointing to get to WDW and realize you do not have the Camera charger.

Ponchos, sweater, pants- this is for weather extremes, I didn't plan for this last time and paid out of pocket for it.

Hand sanitizer or wipes. Germs are yucky!

And most importatntly don't forget to have fun!!! :wizard:

I didnt even think abut hand santizer... I leave on Sunday the 24th and I'm starting to get excited. I have started packing the kids suit cases and I wish I was done but I'm not. I feel like I have so much running around to do in order to get ready... My goal is to have everything done by Friday so Sat I can relax a little. We shall see....

I know one thing we had to go buy from the gift shop was deodarant.. we arrived early like 9am from magical express.... we didn't get our luggage until after 3 or so... and we were going out for the night so we had to go buy some... just my 2 cents... make sure you pack it so you have it with you or something.

A bit off topic, yet related....
May I just say that I have NEVER packed more junk for a trip than I have for this one!! And we travel! Often! I mean really... the ponchos, the over-the-door-shoe holder, the stroller rain cover, the stroller sun shade, the snacks, the juice boxes, the sunscreen, oh dear lord....I could go on and on and on. :faint: Much of it will be used I'm sure. But I'm beginning to wonder how much cr*p I will be lugging down there that will sit unused. Perhaps I went a bit overboard in following the DIS packing list. ::yes::

Oh well!! At least with the ME we'll pack our bags, check them in Hartford, and won't touch them until we get to our room. Isn't that what they say?! :p
