Leaving In The Morning!

Hello Everyone,
We are packed and ready to head south around 7:00 tomorrow morning! Our plans are to travel as far as Orange Park tomorrow and stay there for a couple of nights. Sunday morning we will travel to Fort Wilderness and we hope we will be able to check-in early! We have tickets for the MVMCP Sunday night and I hope we will can get everything set up and be at the MK by 4:00 that afternoon.

As I have shared with many of you since I joined the Camping Forum we have visited Fort Wilderness many times over the last 30 plus years but this will be the first time we have ever had the opportunity to visit during the Christmas Season! Prior to retiring I could never take time off during November or December. Believe me, we are very excited about being able to experience Fort Wilderness and WDW at Christmas! Also, we will be celebrating our '38th' Anniversary at our favorite place!

We look forward to meeting some of you next week!

Hello Bob ....... Thanks for your note! I told my wife this evening that I was looking forward to seeing you again on this trip! I sure hate that things are not working out for this week for you! Are you going to try to change to a later week in the month?

No Doug, we had to put it off until May when the babysitting gig is done for the summer. This having grandkids is both a good thing and a Fort killer. Although I am gonna try to sneak one in sometime in the end of Feb, it all depends if we can find someone to take over the sitting for our daughters younguns. Please Please Please have a good time and go down the slide a few times for me, I didn't even get to the pool in Oct to go down myself.
