and suddenly our 12yr old cat is sick. She was *just* at the vet 1 week ago and got a clean bill of health. She had a full blood panel done - everything. Everything came back looking good. Her kidney values were even down from last year and now within the normal range(she is on a special diet) - the vet was impressed with how well she was doing.
Then today - she won't eat... and she looks like she is in pain. For the first time in her life, she turned down tuna. This morning she made this awful gutteral meow and then threw up.
DH called the vet and they said to bring her in ASAP. My 9yr old is in tears - this cat is her best friend.
I hope she is okay...
