leaving in 90 minutes

So this day has finally arrived I was beginning to wonder if it ever would. My adrenaline has been running high all week which has kept me from sleeping well but then I looked at as a week of Christmas Eve nights as a little kid I think that is part of the Disney Magic, it turns us into kids long before we get there I am most excited right now to wake up my kids and surprise them with the news that we are going. I can't believe I kept the surprise this long! I was tempted earlier this week to spill the beans but I'm glad I didn't! And I am surprised that my friends and the kid's teachers didn't either I set up a little scavenger hunt, "the who, what, when, where, and why game" (I got that idea off of mouseplanet, just so no one thinks I am that creative all on my own ) The 'where' part of the game leads them to a box of Disney goodies I have been collecting, plus souvenirs we still have from our last trip. They think they are getting up early to go to the dentist Well, I just wanted to say thanks so much to you all for all the great tips and your shared enthusiasm! This board really is the greatest online! For those of you who will be in the park in the next week look for my LGMH and come say hi! Have a great day everyone!!

Wow I got super excited just reading your post! I can imagine doing something so special for my kids when they are older....aww love the disney magic! Hope you guys have the most magical trip!!

Not to be redundant, but have a fantastic time!!! I can tell by your posts on DISboards that you really want to make the DLR trips as special for your kids as possible, and it sounds like you put a lot of time and thought into planning this whole thing and making every second of it great! No matter where you got certain ideas from, the fact is you put the time, effort, energy and LOVE into finding out information to carry out all those ideas and bring joy and magic to your kids in a big way. I can only imagine how excited they are to find out where they are going - because it is waaaaaay better than going to the dentist!!!! I am excited too, and I am not even going with you!!!
