Hi,

First time poster here, we leave in 9 days and I have several questions on how a few things work. First off there are 5 of us going myself my wife a 11, 9, and 2 yr old.

1. What times and what days are the parades(especially Spectromagic) and shows(Fantasmic for one) in each of the parks. A few months ago the WDW web site
had a nice calander with park times and the above mentioned info. Now that info has disappeared and we can't find it anywhere. Also does EPCOT have a parade anymore??

2.How does one get into the parks early when we a have a Priority seating for a breakfast (at Magic Kingdom & EPCOT) and when we enter early can we still rent a stroller on the way in even though the park is not yet officially open

3.Baby swap on a MIssion Space is this possible?? how is it done??

4.Do they still have the 100 Years of magic pins that light up at special moments or some pin similair to this??

5. What are character posters and where do you get them how much are they??

6. Finally is there any kind of way My daughter (A Tinker Bell fanatic) can have a meet and greet with Tinker Bell some how. (by the way Tinker Bell's a Pixie not a fairy... I've been scolded many times for this error)

Well I hope someone can help me out with these questions I have others but these are probably the big ones so far.

Thanks in advance!!

Maybe this link will help for your hours/parade question:

Epcot does not have the parade any longer.:(

There is usually an area by the gates for early entry for PS's at restaurants in the parks; have your confirmation number with you just in case. I can't tell you if you can get a stroller then; I doubt it.

Can't answer about Mission Space; it was not open when we were there in June.

I don't remember seeing those 100 Years on Magic pins when we were pin shopping this summer.

I don't remember seeing posters around except in the Art of Disney type of stores; they have posters there.

I don't think we have ever seen one of our favorite pixies to meet or greet, unfortunately.

Have a wonderful and magical trip!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for responding AZKathi
I should have been a little clearer on the character poster. It's supposed to be one of our options on our dreamaker package it states the following:

"A specially designed Disney Character themed poster (one per room)"

I believe it to be a poster of your favorite disney character and you or your family somehow put together on a computer but I have nothing to base this on.

I thought we might have trouble keeping the peace with our kids on who should be in the poster so I thought we might get more than one if the cost wasn't to high.

Thanks again!

Well, there are lots of places that take pictures and place you with the character or scene you like. There is one by Al's Toy Barn in MGM. There is a place at Downtown Disney and you can do this at Epcot in the Kodak place outside of Journey to Imagination. I know there are places in the other theme parks, but I can't remember where. Oh, in Toon Town, you can get a picture with the actual character.

But I don't know what it is other than that. We go through our DVC, so we don't get the cool packages like you are mentioning! I am sure someone can make it more clearer in the next few days!!!!:teeth: :teeth: Have a wonderful trip and please stick around to get any more questions answered before your trip. Heck stick around when you come back, too!!!!! (I thought I would stop coming to these boards after our 1999 trip but look at me still!!!!!!!)

I have tried to answer the questions that I can, but not in the correct order!!

2.I know when we did Princess Storybook Breakfast in Aug. 2002, we got into EPCOT early. They let you in the turnstiles with no problem, we went and rented our stroller right away. There was a rope at the back of Spaceship Earth, and people were lined up there waiting for rope drop. SE was roped off too. We went to the right side of SE, and a CM had a list of who had PS. They let us through the rope and off we went. I'm sure it still has to be the same.

5. Usually, when you check in, they will give you the information about any perks you get with your package. We used to get pins for each person in our group, and they gave us a certificate that we took to the resort store to pick up pins. They might do something like that. You will go the your resort store, and choose the poster you want.

3. Not sure about this ride, but usually to do baby swap, you all get in line and tell the CM at the gate that you want to do it. They will let the first person go on, and have the waiting group stand off to the side. When first group comes off, the swap takes place. Just ask the CM on duty, when you first go in.

Have a great time!! It looks like we will be there together! We check in to Pop Century on Jan. 16. Where are you staying???

Have fun!
