Leaving in 8 days, couple of AKL??????

We're so excited about our 1st trip to AKL next week, but I have a couple of questions before we go:

Are there refrig. in the rooms? I've seen different answers on this one

Is the fitness center free to guests or do you have to pay a "resort" fee to use it?

Last thing, we are planning on buying refillable mugs at Mara, but wanting to know what drinks are available besides Soda and coffee.

Yes there is a refridgerator in the room
The gym at the lodge is free to guests. There is additional charges for sauna, massages, etc.
In addition to the soda's and coffee there is lemonade and also hot chocolate

Hi, we stayed at AKL in a Savannah view room late last year and had to request a refrigerator be brought to our room, so you may not have one. They are available though. If you're really concerned you might call and request one in advance.

When we stayed at the AKL they had many different drinks. Hot chocolate, lemonade, water, tea, and I believe Iced tea (if I can remember right on the Iced tea).

The Mara was such an inconvenient distance from us this past fall that we did not do the refillable cups as we had planned. Instead, we stocked up on drinks for our largish in-room fridge. Much easier.

The fridges are in the room. In our group we had 4 rooms and each had a fridge. Most places in the resort are close to Mara. The only area I can think of that might be inconvenient was all the way down the Kudu trail. If you spend time by the pool they are convenient since Mara is adjacent to the pool deck.

There is iced tea, but beware because to get hot tea you need to pay for the tea bag. There is hot water and you can bring the tea bags they provide in the room down to make tea.It is kind of silly that you have to pay for the tea bag. I have a feeling that when they used to have a basket of teas to select from people just took them to bring home.
