Leaving in 7 Days and I can't get motivated!

I leave tomorrow, and I was a bit down (the person I'm going with is acting a FOOL!). So just yesterday I watched 2 Disney shows that I recorded off of the Travel channel: One that covers each park, and the other that follows Disney fans through the parks. After that, I REALLY got pumped up! Also, I pulled out my photo albums from years past. So now I'm ready! And just think how excited your Dad is for you knowing that you're going back! He's looking down and . . . :cloud9:

I think we need to take to everyone's good advice...I did manage to make those phone calls to GS that I had been putting off.

Put on the disney music...I am not cured but listening to
"we are siamese if you please" :cat:
.. did help :)

I have a Disney CD with Heros songs on it and it work. I am now in the Disney mood.

Great advice!!

Thank you

 No packing list yet? I made my list just after I made my mid-November reservations in May! Primarily because it will be winter and since I live in a warm climate and I'm traveling to a warm climate, I forget to pack winter clothing!

Some things to look forward to on your trip:

Rides/attractions/places you enjoyed with your father. Take a moment to savour them and share them with him--even if it's in your thoughts! Don't worry--he'll be checking up on you and expecting you to enjoy yourself! :)

Motivation to pack: Arriving with nothing to wear? :confused3 :teeth:

You know, I think it's normal to get a little down when you've planned and obsessed over a trip, and that trip is right around the corner. Part of what I've been thinking, I thought 8 mo. was forever, now it's almost here, then it'll be over.

Go, have a good time, do something to honor/remember your dad, and smile when you think of him, even if it's through the tears.

Don't cancel!

I am in the same boat we leave in 7 days and I have been sick all week so have got nothing done... I have been away on business or house sitting for 2 weeks and I really need to get cracking... luckly I only have to pack for me as it isjust DBF and I but I need a little pixie dust to help me feel better and get moving!!!

Seriously, if you don't feel like going, maybe you should stay home.

Honestly you are nothing but a trouble maker, I see that every time you post it's negative, if you are that negative of a person why do you even post on such an upbeat happy board???

You want to know the way you can get motivated for Disney? Take a trip to Vegas! My husband and myself just got off the plane from Vegas and the first thing I did when I got home was to read these boards and realize that we only have 6 more months before our Disney trip. The whole time we were in Vegas both my husband and myself kept saying this sure isn't Disney! Now I know there are people out there that love a Vegas trip but for us it just wasn't enjoyable to us, I couldn't wait to get back home. I am sure once you get the World you will be excited. It was hard for me also to go back to Disney since both my parents loved going there and they both have now passed away. I found that with each of the places and rides my husband and myself did, they brought back so many wonderful memories of our trips together with my parents...
