Thanks to all the tips received on these Boards, our 7-day trip to WDW for our DD 10th b-day is almost all planned. We even got an Illuminations cruise! PS's are made, rest/swim time built in to the plans, etc.

However, all 3 of us in my family are prone to motion sickness. We love Indiana Jones (at DCA) and love Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, but dislike the motion simulators (Star Tours, etc.), don't like big drops like TofT, and didn't do so well on Space Mountain (at DL) the last time (felt ill after). I think as I get older, my equilibrium is worse! Anyways, we were planning on trying the RnR at the Studios, but are getting nervous. Several descriptions, reviews said that it is way more intense than Space Mountain. I trust the Dis'ers opinions most, so any advice???? Again, we are more concerned about motion sickness than "scariness" (we are excited to ride Dinosaur cus it's somewhat similar to Indiana J.

Finally, any advice on good rides and/or shows to hit at entry time if we decide against riding RnR? Already skipping TofT, so what else gets crowded the fastest. Thanks so much!!!

Do Not, I repeat, DO NOT ride this ride if you can't go on Space Mountain or TOT. This ride goes from like 0-60 in a matter of seconds and goes upside down. I took my son on it , who is a real daredevil and he looked a little green around the gills!

I would say not to go on it if you can't go on Space Mountain, this is a lot more twisty and turny to say the least. It is an awesome ride though!!

I don't know I have pretty extreme motion sickness. However, I was able to do RnRRC. I can't do Star Tours, Body Wars (tried this and I was done for a better part of the day-- I actually had a very kind CM get me water and a cool clothe after I was so ill), or any simulator (which leaves 1/2 of Universal out). I can't spin BUZZ around more than very slowly (doesn't make for a good score). I also can't do carousel's!! However, I didn't get sick on RnRRC--- don't know why:confused: .

OK, we'll probably skip the RnR. Thanks for input.

So, if we are passing on TofT and RnR, what rides and/or shows get crowded quickly that would be best to get in first thing in the morning at the Studios?

Kilee, by the way, we sound like we have similar tolerances for rides. How do you do on Dinosaur? Have you ever been on Indiana Jones? I was nervous about I. Jones too, but have now ridden numerous times and it's one of my favorites. Doesn't bother me at all. It's weird how for one person, ride "A" makes them sick, but not "B," and for another person, it can be the exact opposite.

I'm not even thinking about trying Mission Space after reading all the Dis'ers reviews. Anyways, we are so excited about all the fun things we will be doing, and just being at WDW!
