Hey guys and gals...we are leaving in less than 24 hours for our first ever trip to Disney. I think I'm sufficiently planned but was wondering if all the seasoned Disney vacationers could give me their best tip for each of the parks. We are planning to hit all four parks and both waterparks.

Thanks.

Don't try to go none stop. You will end up going berserk. Take a break and keep hydrated!

MK- Get fastpasses for Space,Splash and Thunder Mountains. Toontown the judges tent is HOT in the afternoon try going in the morning or early evening.

Epcot- If you can break it into two days,if you can't pick which countries in the World Showcase you really want to go and skip the rest.
As you walk around the World try and pick out a good place for Illuminations my personal favorite is in front of France.

AK- Try to do the Safari in the morning-all the animals are active then.

Disney Studios-Fastpass for RocknRoller and Tower of Terror. I find this park very confusing to find my way around keep your map out!
If you haven't done so try to make at least a PS for your first day meals.

Have fun!

Not knowing all of the tips that you have been told along the way...I'll give you some of my favorite tips.....

1.At some point take the monorail from MK to Epcot.....it's a nice long ride on the monorail (as the others can be quite short) and it takes you through Epcot on the way in...cool way to see the park from up on the "highway in the sky".

2.If during the day you get hot and tired....go back to the resort and rest...this has been more helpful to us in the past than anything...the crowds in the middle of the day can be really heavy. By the time you get back to the park that night you will be refreshed and ready to go and you will be walking upstream throught the worn out people headed out of the park who tried to stay all day.

3. Take a phone with you, keep it turned off if you wish, but it can really come in handy when in the parks...mainly for getting into resturaunts...say you are at futureworld in Epcot and figure you'll be to World Showcase in a couple of hours, you can grab the phone call 407-wdw-dine and set up a PS. This is also great to do from your resort as your heading out to the park, just see if you can get a PS in the next hour or so and by that time you'll be to the park. These reservations of course are just if you have some meals you've left open and see some places of intrest.

4. Lastly have a great time....you'll get to things...just take the time to enjoy whats around you...you are visiting what I and most here consider to be the greatest place on Earth...Enjoy every second of it.

Be sure to let us know how it went when you get back ......have a great trip. :wave2:

Take a break in the afternoon!

We were there May 22 thru May 29 and it was HOT every day 90 or so each day. We went when the park opened left by 1 and then went back between 5 and 7 each night (depending on what time we ate dinner.) The evenings were much cooler and enjoyable to be there!

Program this number and your resorts number in your phone before you go.

Also, take a few email addresses with you. There are things at Epcot you can email to others.

Remember you are on vacation. Relax. I do not care how fast you go thru the parks or how long you have, you will not see everything. Some of the best magic comes when you least expect it.

Also, if you are prone to blisters or hotspots, take the moleskin. Your feet will thank you for it.

Have a great time and DO NOT wear out the rides! We will be there next week!

Hi! Just back today from our fabulous trip!

GET UP EARLY AND BE AT THE PARKS AT OPENING and TAKE A BREAK EVERY DAY!!!!!

MK - For Spectro, enter the park and stand either in front of or across street in front of fire station to the right of entrance. This is one of the spots they let people walk through until the parade starts. As soon as they close the rope for good, move in front of it for a front row seat! The parade begins here and when it's over, you walk through the shops, out Casey's Hot Dogs door, and snag a spot on the walkway between CP and Main Street in front of the water and directly in front of the castle. Everyone else is still watching the parade go by...we actually stopped in an empty Casey's and got food. We arrived at MK with 15 minutes to spare for Spectro on Memorial Day Saturday and this was a lucky thing we discovered. Neither spot filled until the parade or fireworks had started.

Epcot - Get a fast pass for Soarin', watch Honey I Shrunk the Audience next door, ride Soarin'. Head to Test Track, get a fast pass, and if desired, ride Mission Space. Then return to Test Track. Now you've accomplished the four hard things and you can relax and enjoy! Worked twice for us.

MGM - Upon arrival study the show times and plan carefully. We spend two afternoons/evenings here and couldn't see them all. Make sure you know what's most important to your family!

AK - Late afternoons until closing are nice! We didn't need fast pass for safari or Kali River Rapids at the end of the day. Granted we probably didn't see as many animals...

As previous poster said, make sure you make priority seatings ahead of time. If it's raining - head to the parks early anyway, you'll spend a few hours in low crowds and small lines. We walked on Splash and Big Thunder over and over at 10:30 yesterday morning in rain!!!!!!

HAVE FUN!!!!!! :flower: :flower:
