Leaving in 2 days..some questions????

Just wondering if some of you folks might know the answers to a few of my questions...
1. The Osbourne lights will be up - and I know they officially don't start until Monday the 13th - any chance they will be on the few days before....
2. Is the redo of the Fanstamic stage done? It is my daughters favorite fireworks?
3. Are there Christmas decorations up yet?????
4. The weather channel says warm weather - what about at night?

Ooh, I would love to know, too! I've never seen the Osbourne lights. I leave the 13th, so if they do a preview, that would be the only way I could see them.

Fantasmic! - Closed for refurbishment 11/1/06 - 11/8/06. Reopens on 11/9/06

i had my capris/tee on with a light jacket and was fine, hubby didnt need any coat, he a warmer person anyway...

The Osborne lights were on this past Friday night. I'm not sure to what extent because at around closing time we could see them on in the distance. We already knew they were up but had no idea they would turn them on.
It's chilly at night, I would suggest layers.

I just got back today. Christmas decorations are up in the AK and MK so far. The weather was chilly in the mornings at nighttime but hot in the afternoon. So pack jeans and a sweatshirt and watch the weather in the morning before you set out.

We just got home today also. MGM had a sneak preview of the Osborne lights on Saturday, we didn't see them because we went back to MK for Spectro.

We did get to see the new Nemo show at AK, they had two shows today one at 10 and the other at 12:40. We were the first ones to see the show. It was very good, we were not allowed to take any pictures or videos though.

The weather is awesome right now!!!

What feels comfy to anyone visiting from the north can feel chilly to me, but tonight I have all my windows open and if I were at Disney I'd probably be carrying my jacket. The weather for the next few days says 85 during the day and mid 70's at night.

I'm going this weekend too, and even though we go almost monthly, a weekend getaway is still a fun treat.

I am so excited... so many Disboard folks at the POP this week...I am going to try and decorate our window!!! I know it sounds crazy about the Christmas decorations...but I want to get a great photo of the kids to use for our Christmas card - do you think people will think us crazy if we put on some Santa hats???? Also excited about the Osbourne lights...we saw them last year but really want to see the changes they made this year..... have a great trip LUCAS and JOYBETH.... maybe we will see you there!!!!

Well here's the scoop on the Osbourne Lights @ MGM, when we were there on Friday (11/3) they had the lights on. Apparently in an effort to compensate for the Fantasmic Refurbishment they are turning on the lights. I am uncertain if they are doing this every night and if so for how long but it was an unexpected but pleasant surprise for us!

Wow - looks like we got ourselves a group going to Disney! It is just dh and I and we are staying at POP. Our schedule is:

Wed - driving up in the afternoon, will check into POP and then head to DTD.

Thurs - EPCOT - Food & Wine Festival

Fri am - AK
Fri pm - Dinner ressies at GF. After dinner, we will take the monorail around and get off at each hotel to shop, trade pins and check out the lobbies.

Sat - DTD - Festival of the Master's

Our plan is we fly out of Buffalo Wed afternoon and arrive in Orlando about 5pm - we plan on going to Epcot to sample some of the Food and Wine booths
Thursday we plan on AK in the morning and Epcot in the afternoon
Friday is MGM - having dinner at Hollywood and Vine (my DS - age 13 loves this place)
Saturday MK with dinner at Ohana's for Maggie's birthday celebration!

I would be so excited if the Osborne Lights are on this week. I am heading down late wednesday night and leaving monday early evening. So, hopefully, they will be on at some point this weekend. I have never seen the lights, and would LOVE to!

I am so excited, my whole family is going on this trip, we will all be at Old Key West.

I can't wait to see the new Nemo attraction...hopefully it will be open the day we are in AK....okay - I have one child packed - one more and myself to go... if 48 hours from now I will be getting ready to watch Illuminations...how cool is that......
