Leaving in 2 days...FREAKING OUT! What did you forget?

The only thing we forgot was DD's comfort blanket when we went to WDW for the first time in December. We forgot to pick it up off the sofa when we left for the airport the first few nights were a nightmare then she forgot about it eventually!

Something we usually do is to make a short list of all of the bags that need to go in the car - black suitcase, my backpack, DH's backpack, kid's pillows, kid toys, whatever. This is very, very helpful when you're running out the door!

Trust me on this one, we forgot to make our normal list for a school camping trip this week, and DH forgot his backpack. Luckily it was not wilderness camping and we had our own car so I went shopping, but it could have been bad -- he had no place to store his contact lenses!
