leaving in 12 hours

We are going to be leaving tomorrow morning for AKL, 2 bedroom value studio. DS just found out his best friend lives in Niceville. We had been told he lives in St. Petersburg....much closer to Disney. Now DS wants to know if we can swing by friends house and let him visit. We have been trying to get friends address for weeks but DS kept putting off. He talks with him every day via internet. I am not sure how to fit this into the trip. 6 of us will be staying in a value 2 bedroom which we have done before. I really don't want to drive 6 hours to visit friend and then drive 6 hours back. DH is getting DD from college right now so he is unaware of the latest monkey wrench. I just need to vent. I was so looking forward to getting away and relaxing. Maybe dear friends parents will say no way??? I have asked DS to see if maybe they could meet us half way. Maybe we bring dear friend down to Disney for an over night???? No sure if I can take 2 14 year old boys without Xbox 360 or whatever they are playing right now for 24 hours.

that is way too far to drive for a visit. especially on your vacation. See if the friend will drive to you or meet half way..good luck and have a great time
