leaving from San Diego to Disneyland

Does anyone to have any advice on when we should leave on a Monday morning to get to Disneyland by 9:30? We are staying near Sea World in San Diego. We can only take I-5 to get there right? Any advice would be great. Thank you!

I would leave between 6:30 and 7:00 if you want to get there by 9:30. You'll hit traffic coming up through San Diego, and again just south of Anaheim.
