OK, whine alert--
We leave on the 6am flight for florida on Friday, but my entire family is sick with UR symptoms and fevers.
I would throw myself on the mercy of MS and ask to slide my vacation forward a couple of days, but the change fees on Spirit are going to be really high (we had a great rate $800 for 5 r/t). Ugh.
I'm sorry to complain, but last Feb we went to Fantasmic the first night and my son fell and broke his nose (bad) and shortened that trip. And in summer '06 I picked up Strep on our 3 night cruise and spent the following week in bed at the beach club while my family visited the parks. I won't even get into the stomach flu in Feb '06 or the norwalk virus of '04
.
I have to say, I'm starting to feel a little jinxed. I think the big problem is that we always travel in February which is the height of *everything* season and it's hard to get everyone healthy for the trip in the winter. But then again, there's 2" of ice on my lawn right now, so February is appealling in other ways.
Even so, this might be our last attempt at a feb trip.
