Leaving for Vegas tomorrow!!!

Woohooo! This is our first trip to Vegas and we are celebrating our 20th anniversary. I'm so excited! We are staying at the Bellagio. I was checking in this morning for our boarding passes and got offered a first class seat upgrade for an additional $150 a person. I took it! I don't know if it was a good deal or not but I think it is. We only paid $200 for each plane ticket to begin with so now it is only $350 a ticket from MD to Vegas non stop r/t! Does that sound like a good deal? I can't wait to get there!

Have a wonderful time! Next to Disney, Vegas is my second favorite home! I'm sure you will love Bellagio. Location, location, location! If you're into Gelato, they have a scrumptios and beautiful Gelato store. The buffett there is really good, too. Happy 20th Anniversary! Remember - what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!

Hope you enjoy LV. The Bellagio is beautiful, but be sure to check out the other hotels. We just stayed at the Mirage a couple weeks ago for our first visit to LV. I really enjoyed walking around The Venetian and Caesar's Palace, too. My only complaint of LV was the smoking as here in Mass there are bans for smoking everywhere, but in LV, they can smoke everywhere - and they do!

We are planning on visiting a lot of other hotels. We initially had reservations for the Venetian but was told by everyone to book the Bellagio. I am still going over to the Venetian to ride the gondolas! I don't mind the smoke in the casinos. In Atlantic City most is smoking so I'm used to it. Thanks!

Thanks! I have a friend that just got back and won quite a bit at the Bellagio. I plan on gambling along the strip anyway. I'll spread my $$$ over a large spot! LOL!

Have a wonderful time! The extra $$ for first class is so worth it. I think it will just add to the romance of a wonderful trip! That's a long flight to be squished in coach if you don't have to be. I'd have splurged too.

The Bellagio is wonderful - beautiful, and smack dab in the middle of everything. Vegas is a great town for fine dining, if that's your style. Most places, even the really nice ones, are business casual, but a few require jackets for men and skirts for ladies. One of these is Picasso in the Bellagio. One of these trips I'm going to make DH pack a jacket so we can go have dessert there.

Another favorite of mine is the art gallery in the Bellagio. The Venetian has one also. It's a quiet way to spend an hour or so, and it's just the right size for DH. They do a great job of bringing in interesting shows. When we were there in August it was Ansel Adams photographs.
