Woo-hoo!!!!!! It's almost here! We are leaving tomorrow from Daytona Beach and will arrive at Manchester Airport on Thursday morning. Then a quick trip over the Snake and we'll be in Sheffield!!!!!!!!!
I haven't been sleeping through the night for the last few days and I suspect I won't sleep much tonight.
My husband is equally excited (it's his first trip!)
You are all probably thinking we are crazy to be so excited about this trip. Yes, it's sunny and warm (HOT) over here and we're leaving it for cooler temps and possibly wetter weather - but that's ok!!!
What is up with the sun rising so early?
It's not quite up here until sometime around 6:00. I read on the BBC Weather site that it's rising around 4:00 there. YIKES! Oh, and I get to watch up-to-the-minute episodes of EastEnders instead of having to rely on website updates or catch up on the shows that air on BBC America several weeks behind the current ones.
I'll work on a trip report when we get back. We're there for two weeks! I'll bring my camera along.
