If we want to leave the park to go to dinner on a Friday night, what are the chances that they will not let us back in? We are planning to go to Steakhouse55 at the DL hotel, if that makes a difference. I just don't want to go to eat, then not be able to get back in.

Are you worried that they will close the park due to crowds? The hundreds of times I've been to DLR I've never had a problem getting back in. I think it really only happens on the busiest of days-New Years Eve and 4th of July are 1 that come to mind.

I wouldn't worry about it. We cross over, back and forth, several times during most trips.

Unless Friday night is Christmas, 4th of July, New Years or perhaps Spring Break the odds they won't let you back in are slim to none. I've never had issues and never been denied re-entry even on busy summer weekends. It takes a lot more than just a big crowd to shut people out.

You are referring to the trip you're taking in 2 weeks? You'll be fine, it's off season so the crowds are lower. They rarely close the parks but when they do it's peak season and usually the middle of July, Christmas or New Years. I've never been over Christmas or New Years but I've seen the sign up in July....on a Saturday.

No you will not have a problem getting back in. I travel to Disneyland twice a year and have yet see a problem getting back in. We like having late dinners, so we leave around 8 and granted this is a weekend in the summer, and we try getting back in around 9:30, it has been no problem.
