Leaving carry on at resort?

With taking the Magical Express to our resort, would be able to leave our carry on with Bell Services so we can then head to Disney Springs or a park instead of hauling the carry on with us?

Yep- we do that all the time

Yes, the valet actually met us getting off the bus and took our car seat and carry-on to bell services for us. We hopped right on the monorail to Epcot. We just called down as soon as we got checked into the room, and they brought our items up to us. So convenient!

We have to hit Disney Springs Guest Services to figure out an old ticket situation, and if it gets done quickly, hit a park.

I’ve left carry on (locked) with bell service and haven’t had a problem. I don’t know if pool lockers are any safer. Haven’t checked the size, but doubt my roller carryon would fit in it.
At our Aquatic Centre there have been reports of lockers being broke into and it’s a busy pool.

We have left our carry on with Bell Services until our room was ready upon arrival more than once, when we wanted to go to a park first. Just make sure its locked, and it should be fine.

I leave my carry-ons with Bell Services FREQUENTLY when I travel. I trust them with my electronics - my work laptop (which is an above average machine) and my middle of the road consumer tablet. IMO - unless you have high-end jewelry or unusual specialty high-end electronics - I would not worry about theft from the staff. Yes - you are still trusting them to properly label, store, and later retrieve your belongings. But at Disney - or with any business class hotel - Bell Services folks handle customer belongings every day.

If the thought of leaving your electronics, jewelry, or other valuables with BS is unnerving to you, another option is renting a locker at the parks. $7 for a small locker with unlimited in/out privileges.

I have left my high end Samsung tablets with bell services in an unlocked carry on many times and never had a problem. One thing to think about leaving them in a locker is the heat if you are going in the summer, even winter it can get pretty hot. Can't be good for your electronics being stored in a very hot locker for hours.

I've left my carry-on with Bell Services (locked) when room not ready and never a problem.

We do that and usually stop at Bell Services to pick up our bags when we return before we head to our room. We still tip the CM, but I don't like waiting for them to bring them to the room. I'm too ready to get unpacked. If you have a lot of bags or don't mind waiting, then by all means call and have them do the transporting! You just have to be in the room to receive your things, unlike Magical Express, which will drop off without anyone in the room, and doesn't accept tips even if you do happen to be there.

We leave our carry ons with bell services and never had a problem, but if you want a greater level of security, there are safe deposit boxes (like the ones at the bank) behind the front desk at every resort.
