The more I analyze our proposed itenerary the more I think I'm wrong! Some of my concerns are: 1) Sat 10/29 is one of the only full hour MK days and I think it will be crowded. 2) Will F&W at Epcot make Sunday a bad choice to visit there?

My dh and I are going with my Mom and our kids who are 5 and 2 and staying at POR. MK is where we would like to spend most of our time.

Arrive Friday 10/28, check in around 10am (at least register and drop off bags) Where to go? MK open til 6pm so could go there espec. if we decide to not go on Sat. due to crowds.

Sat 10/29: I was thinking MK all day this day but I am thinking I may need to change my plan. Any advice from those of you have have been around this time? If we decide against MK which of the other parks is a good choice? :confused3

Sun 10/30: Either AK or MGM until 1pm then CRT lunch 2:45pm, back to POR to change and rest until MNSSHP!

Mon 10/31: 9:30 at Ohanas, then maybe on to Epcot.

Tues 11/1: Last day. 8:10 at CP, MK all day for sure!

Thanks! ::MinnieMo

Ok, surely of the thousands of posters here someone has some advice! I've never used the Touring Plan thing and don't know if I should trust it or not!

Not sure of Goofy's response was meant to be sarcastic or not but it really wasn't necessary if that was the case.

my best advice would be to not analyze it too much. :flower: We just got back and I spent SO much time trying to figure out the best way, and I still wasnt 100 percent happy with the itinerary when we left, but becuase of our ADRs I couldnt change it. Once I got there I forgot about all that, and we had a wonderful time. We did MK on Saturday October 1st, and because we were there early, we got a lot done by 2, and left for a swim. We had no problems with crowds.

We found that ds really wasnt into too much at EPCOT. We did it our first night though, mainly because it was open later than the other parks. Future world until 7 and ws until 9. It was a relaxing way to start out our trip, eating and strolling around the WS. This could work for you on Friday if you were wanting to be out later than 6.

Have fun planning!

We're going the same time as you .... but staying offsite & for 8 days. It's our first trip! We have a 7 day hopper, rental car, DD(10) DS(7)

Here's our plan so far....

*Friday 28th ~ check in, get settled, swim, explore our resort(Sheraton Vistana)
*Sat 29th ~ MGM probably sci-fi for lunch.
*Sun 30th ~ Epcot for the F&W fest. (yum!)
*Mon 31st ~ MK for MNSSHP. probably sleep in, swim, get to park at 4:00
*Tue 1st ~ AK which I'm worried about cause of EMH, crowded?
*Wed 2nd ~ Seaworld for DH bday, Shark Expedition & Luau for dinner
*Thur 3rd ~ play by ear. more park time?
*Fri 4th ~ also leaving open, depart at 8pm

We have NO reservations for food anywhere except the luau at seaworld, we don't want any character meals, and don't like to plan too much ahead.

How's this look to everybody?

BTW THANKS FOR ALL THE GREAT ADVICE HERE ! I'M HOOKED ON THE DIS!!!

Thanks for answering! I think I've become so obsessed with planning (happily thanks to the DIS ;) ) that I can't see past it! I guess if MK is crowded we can just leave and go somewhere else!
