We leave in one week and still have no luggage tags. Have any of you left for your trip without them still planning to use Magical Express? Did it work? I hate to spend the money on alternate transportation if I do not have to. Thanks! :)

I would wait and see if you get your tags tuesday by Fed X. I am leaving this week and just got my tags last week. So you still have time. :) Throwing pixie dust your way!

I leave in 4 days...no tags. guess I better call and see what to do! I'm sure they just get your bags when you check in at ME.

Scubalisa-

We just got back from Disney a few weeks ago. We never got our luggage tags either. We made it to the magical express holding area instead and we did just go straight there and gave them a description of our luggage (thankfully had only checked 1 bag) and our claim ticket. We did get our luggage just fine later that day. Line at ME check in counter was about as long as some of the rides at the Magic Kingdom though. The way home was less smooth, we had problems checking in at the hotel and never got our voucher for the return trip. Had to check everything at the airport ourselves(after standing in LONG lines) BUT, despite that it was still a free ride and I will likely use it again if I go back for a mother-daughter trip in Sept. Net, they are still working out the kinks, but should be ok even if you don't get your tags.

::MickeyMo We had the best luck using ME to our resort. :cool1: I was worried because we never received our luggage tags. We were off the plane by 10 am on May 21 and already standing in our room at Pop Century by 11 am. It was unbelievable how quickly it all happened. It was the fastest that I have ever gotten to the resort and checked in when I have used rental cars, town cars, and Mears in the past.

::MickeyMo We just really lucked out that we breezed right through the ME line and described our luggage, got right onto a bus headed to Pop (the first stop), hardly any line at check in, and our room was ready. We ended up with a great room too. It was a better location than our previous preferred room stay. We were on the second floor of building 6, in the 70's section, overlooking the lake. I never imagined that we could have done all that in just an hour. LOL

::MickeyMo Our luggage showed up fine although I'm not sure exactly what time it came, because we headed straight out the parks. I would love to know how long it did take though.

::MickeyMo Coming home on ME was a a bit more chaotic though. LOL We were scheduled for a 3:40 pm pick up but nothing came. :sad2: There was a large group also waiting and finally they started filling up other busses about 10 after four, including regular Mears and a Disney Cruise Line bus. We probably left about a half hour later for the airport but still had plenty of time before our flight left.

::MickeyMo I will definately use this service again!! :flower: Rebecca
