I have looked over our packing list a million times and I think I have everything, but am afraid I might be forgetting something. Please help jog my memory!

you are forgetting that they have stores in Florida

as long as you have comfy shoes, you're good.

relax and enjoy!

Sunscreen, fans, hats, swim diapers? I always bring my kids swim vests with us too. Water shoes or sandals and a few boxes of the small juice boxes and snacks for the little one.

Very true!:goodvibes Make sure you have your reservation info, plane tickets, I.D., $/ Credit cards etc... and anything else you can buy if you forget. Also on our list is DD's bunny that she doesn't sleep well without.

Common things to forget:
bathing suit
sunscreen
brush
toothbrush
deodorant
camera/ batteries
sunglasses
hats
cell phone charger

One year, I realized the night before that I hadn't packed myself any p.j.'s.:confused3

Have a great trip!

You want to alert your credit card company that you will be traveling.

I don't use credit cards on a regular basis any more and last year I took a last minute, out of state (business) trip, and within 24 hours the card was frozen. I had triggered an unusual activity alert on the account, by making a large number of charges including electronics and some on-line orders not shipping to my home address, and originating from outside my usual area. The card company had called the number associated with the account (home) but of course I wasn't there, so they froze the account. I've since changed my phone number on the account to my cell phone.

I was able to call and straighten it out, but it was embrassing when my card was rejected at dinner. This had happened once before, years ago when I was traveling in Mexico and I couldn't get that card unlocked until I got back to the States. I was told to call and alert them if I was making international charges, but I didn't expect it to kick in for just out-of-state travel. It was an inconvience both times, but I all in all I would rather my credit card company was actively trying to prevent fraud.

Did you stop the mail and or paper? If you have pets, don't forget to budget for the kennel bill! We did last time... :rolleyes1
