Leave decorations?

So we're doing a Merrytime cruise in November and I was planning on making a wreath or something for our door. I didn't want to bring it back home (we're driving, so I could). Could I leave it on the ship with a note to give to a boarding guest when we get off?

If you left later and wanted to walk back to area where drop off and bus arrived you could offer it to an arriving passenger but leaving it there would just end in the trash.

This is almost certainly true. I did see the inside of a housekeeping door thigh that was fully decorated. I suspect some of the best decorations are kept for some pixie dusting.
