Leave a Legacy Warning!

We did this back in 2003 because it came with our AAA package. Never received anything in the mail, but was told I could go up to them and find out where our tiles were placed.

Well, after the cm couldn't find us in the computer he went to the back with our names (our children had one, then my mom & her sister). He was very apologetic, but it seems we were never "composited". Luckily the pics were still on file, but still, what a downer. 3 Years it took us to get back & they weren't there. He was very apologetic & he brought everyone in the back to see the pics on the computer to show us that they weren't lost.

God Willing my mom will make it there again to see her tile. Just a word of warning - make sure you take one of the business cards there. That way if you don't receive anything in the mail within a reasonable time you can contact them.

If I had paid for these I would have been . But we were all disappointed, especially my 69 year old mom

That's unfortunate. Every time I enter Epcot by the front gate,I go to see my tile. After 6 years,it's still there.

I keep hoping that they will go AWAY!!! People fuss about the Wand, Heck keep the wand, REMOVE THE TOMBSTONES.

(And for those of you who paid, all you were promoised is that the tombstones would stay SOMEPLACE on Disney property!)

i'd like to see them moved to the back of the park...

Since your pictures were still on the computer; did they offer to put them up on the walls now? Or did they just show them to you and usher you on your way?

The guy I spoke with took us in the back to show them to us on the computer so we could see what they would look like. He said it was the least he could do - he was very nice, and I didn't blame him at all, it's not like it was his fault.

He offered to re-take the photo but we declined & told him to stick with the originals.

Luckily, when we returned home from our trip we had already received a confirmation card in the mail with a contact # on the card. I think the same guy must have wrote it out that night, because there was a little note apologizing for the mishap.

I don't think they look like tombstones at all, but do agree they are a wierd looking. We did not pay for these, it was part of a AAA package so we thought what the heck. It might be cute someday when my kids take their kids right?
