What is your least favorite type of thread?

Mine is "Am I wrong to feel ___ about ___". Feelings aren't wrong. They are just something you're experiencing. I'd much rather someone ask "What do you think about this situation..."

Mine is "has anyone been to XXXXXXX" and it's not an obscure place, it's something like the Polynesian Hotel. Nope never been, you are the first.

Now if it's something smaller, like a local restaurant in Orlando, or maybe some type of service, then ok. But like the example above, just don't get it.

Clique threads. :snooty:

And they have gotten SO much worse since the political/religious discussions got banned.

Now everybody and their grandmother is starting a thread for "Owners of cocker spaniels with high blood pressure who want someday to stay at the Polynesian resort and adopt baby orangutans!" :upsidedow

I'm in that clique. However, I am lying about wanting to adopt an orangutang just to get a sense of belonging.

Personally, I dislike the medical opinion threads. People, go to a doctor if you have a nail stuck in your head or blood gushing from an artery. It's not safe to take our advice.

The domestic ones that are really sad. Someone's relative or neighbor who is abusing a child or some thing similar. I hate knowing there is someone suffering and I can't help

:lmao: :rotfl:
And I totally agree about the medical advice ones... I am sorry your elderly uncle has severed his leg, what the heck do you want me to do about it from here?!? Go to the doctor already!!

The innocent ones that incite riots.

Oops!! I thought you said "MOST favorite"!

My LEAST favorite are the ones that start out "Delete" and no one followed the "Rule" of quoting the OP..so you don't know why it was deleted.

Number 1 is the "Has anyone. . ." NOPE. That place has been in business all these years but no one has actually ever been there/used their services/products etc. Unless someone is asking "Has anyone ever owned a cocker spaniel with high blood pressure and wants someday to stay at the Polynesian resort and adopt baby orangutans?" someone has done it. Just ask for the opinions of those that have.

Number 2 are the ones that ask for advice and then when given it they argue why none of that will work for them and then get nasty and finally YAGE because everyone here is so mean. If you don't want advice don't ask. If you don't want opinions from others then don't post on a public forum. If you just want everyone to agree with you then go talk to your family and friends that all share your same views and backgrounds or find a forum that is specifically for those with your same viewpoints. There is something for everyone on the internet!

Number 3 are the thread titles that give no idea what the thread is about. "Question about WDW", "Help Please", "I have a Question"

So basically my least favorite thread would be titled "Has anyone ever?" And would then for advice and reject all that is offered!

"Can I sneak in my four year old child for free by telling the CM he is two?
He is very tiny and eats like a bird".

When people ask for prayers for inane thinks... such a kid's science project.
I guess I'm a cheapskate when it comes to prayers.

I voted for the click threads. But the ones that really get me are the ones asking for prayers/good vibes/pixie dust because of something horrible but they will not shed any light as to WHAT is going on.

No one should have to post the gory details but at least give us an idea (is your job at risk? Your mom dying? Your husband cheating? Your child arrested?) or don't bother posting at all. That kind of thing drives me nuts. :headache:

Well I would vote for the political threads but thank god they don't have them anymore on here!!

I really dislike the threads where people ask for advise and then freak out when they get the advise that they didn't want. People on here are pretty honest about the way that they feel. If you don't want to hear it, then don't ask.

What is your least favorite type of thread?

Depressing subjects: illnesses, death/dying, "solicitations" for prayers or detailed situations that will NOT affect the OP or their immediate family!

NEWS: Guess what folks, those "headlines" that you feel compelled to "let us know about"...we've seen them already on our computers, we've heard about them multiple times via the news, our radios have kept us well informed.

Good Lord, STOP already!!!!!

Any thread and/or post that starts with "I'm sorry but", I immediately stop reading.

WHY does anyone have to feel sorry that they have an opinion, agreeable or not???

Why? Don't you think my kid is the most specialist of all the special snowflakes out there? Don't you think she clearly deserves the award of Cow Queen? Meanie.

:thumbsup2
Yes those " speshul Snowflakes" wining threads.

Were have all the normal children gone to?
It seems as every parents has a very special child with o so special needs.
Maybe now that "Neverland " will be opened to the public we will find all our healthy normal children back.

this made me giggle because when my reluctant-to-apologize DH says "I'm sorry but" I always say, "Yes you are a sorry butt!":rotfl:

I usually find here that if someone says "I'm sorry but..." they are anything BUT sorry...they just want to preface what they have to say so they won't look like complete jerks.

Debate threads that everyone assumes you are wrong because you have a different opinion than them.

The tag cliques. I'm jealous .. :sad1:
