The Dinoland thread prompted this question...

What is your least favorite ride? Any type of ride, any park.

Mine: Primeval Whirl. I love dinosaurs and I love rollercoasters, but this thing scared the pooh out of me. It looks like what would happen if Tim Burton made a movie version of a Dr Seus book, and I couldn't shake the feeling that it had been assembled by intoxicated carnies. I seriously thought I was going to die on it.

Mission Space was my least favorite ride. The DH LOVES it!!! I didn't get sick, had no adverse reaction----just didn't like the Feelings---ugh...not for me, however, the DH wants one in our backyard!!!!

Heheh. I love Mission Space and could happily spend days on it, but it makes my fiancee feel hungover (which is no fun for anyone!).

I did not enjoy "It's tough to be a bug" as much as I should have. The smelly parts and the spiders (which deathly scared off) made it an uncomfortable experience

Mission Space, hands down. Made my DH sick for three days, I won't go anywhere near it and will not let my son on it. So much for Walt's vision of things families can enjoy together.

Probably "Ellen's Energy Adventure", it just needs some updating, same with the Backlot Tour, I used to look forward to it, but this past trip we just skipped it because it's the same old stuff.

LOL My ds and I LOVE Primeval Whirl. It's actually one of our favorites. But your description of it actually does do it justice!! :rotfl2: :thumbsup2 I laughed so hard when I read that and could totally see how someone would describe it like that. Too funny....

As for my least favorite ride? I think it would have to be Cinderella's Golden Carosel...not cause I "don't like it" but because I can't think of anything else I would not chose to ride before it.

I'll put another vote in for Ellen's energy ride. Boring.

I think that all of "Chester and Hesters" should be torn down......it just doesn't fit with the beauty of AK....it's such an eye sore....

Stitch's Great Escape needs to go as well......

Indy cars! If I never ride this again I'll be a better person. Besides, is there a worse line to wait in than for this attraction? The combination of heat and the smell of the cars is enough to make you pass out!

For sheer misery - I'd have to say Mission:Space. The tea cups are almost as nauseating, but at least they're 1) outside, and 2) controllable.

For boredom - oh, that Stitch ride is terrible! Smelly and terrible!

For ride time vs. wait time - (don't flame me!) Dumbo. I know the kids love that ride, but waiting in line for over an hour - even during the "slow" season - for a 40 second ride is really lame.

Sounds Dangerous. Sitting in the dark and listening to Drew Carry just isn't fun for me.

For rides - Mission Space. I don't get sick on it, I just feel like my lungs are collapsing for a few seconds, and then the rest of it's lame.

For attractions - Indiana Jones Show - seen it once, seen it a hundred times - it needs an update.

Primeval whirl here too, it is to jerky & I hate spinning. Tea cups are right up there too.

Mission Space...just freaked me out, although DH & DD loved the ride and got back in line to ride again, I opted to be "official" bag holder & checked out the gift shop 2nd time around. Another ride is the boat ride in Mexico, although it was a nice ride (with no wait time i might add),to cool down in, I think it needs some additions or changes, just seemed to be medicore.

Donna :wizard:
DH pirate:
DD 19 :hippie:
DD 15 :cheer2:

next trip: July 15 - July 22, 2006 AKL :yay:

MISSION SPACE ... first time not too bad ... second time I felt like my heart was going to explode but my dh loves it!

For ride vs. wait time I vote Soarin'. It was the only ride we waited a long time for (2+ hours) and I thought it was so lame.

I kind of hated the Stitch ride too, but mostly I was just dissapointed.

my vote goes for the new attraction at MGM... i can never get the name right ...lights, motor, action.... The stunt show... i found it to be extremely boring and way too many people, and sitting in the sun... it just wasn't for me.. something i won't wait in a very long line with lots of people again to see!!
:stitch: Stitch is one of my FAVORITES!!!!!
so many people don't like it... i think it is soo cute... but then again i am a HUGE stitch fan!!! :stitch:
