Least favorite dining on the Magic?

We will be on the 5 night Bahamas cruise on the Magic setting sail on Feb 3rd. The Super Bowl is the 3rd night, and Pirate night is the 4th night. Based on this, I am assuming the dining rotation is going to be 12312. My husband wants to skip out on dining on the 3rd night in order to watch the Super Bowl, meaning we will have to miss out completely on one of the dining rooms. I want to make sure that we are NOT on Animators Pallette that night so I am going to make a dining request. So which dining room would you skip if you had to pick? Thank you!

I would miss the restaurant they replaced Parrot Cay with. Is it a Brazilian theme?

I can't say I dislike any of the dining rooms on the Magic, but our two favorites are Animator's and Carioca's. For us, at least, we'd try to skip Lumiere's. I'd suggest taking a look at the menus on the Disney Cruiseline Blog and seeing what you prefer. I will add that Carioca's seems to draw a wide range of opinions. People seem to either love it or hate it with not a lot in between. We love it!!

Have you checked menus? I love animators menu and atmosphere, and Lumieres. I would skip cariocas because my family only liked a few of the menu items.

My least favorite is Carioca's. I'm a vegetarian if that make any different. The veg options were meh.

The buffet in the pub area is only available for about an hour around 10:30-11:30 pm. There is a Pub Grub menu (extra cost) available at any time.

I liked the Rib Eye offering. But I'm not a foodie, I just like well prepared whatever it is.

If there isn't enough food in the bar order room service to your cabin and bring it with you. They will only bring room service to the cabins.

We are on the same cruise. I didn't even realize that Sunday was super bowl. I checked our activities and I had booked Palo for that night. I talked to my husband and he wants me to move it. When checking activities it says Sunday is pirate night. Now to decide where to move Palo.
