Least expensive place for TS?

DH and I will be going out alone one night  using 1 TS credit each. My girls will be going to Neverland so they won't be using their TS credit that night. So, we will end up with 2 more kid TS than adult TS credits at the end of our stay.

So far, we are doing CRT, Crystal Palace, Kona (adults), and princess storybook. That leaves us with no ADR for our last full day (we will be there 6 nights). We don't have any specific park plans that day either - it is going to be a day to redo what we loved or what we didn't get a chance to do earlier in the week.

Any ideas/suggestions for the 2 extra kids credits - I guess the only thing will be to pay OOP for the adults. So, where would you go to get a nice meal at a good price?

We had an uneven amount of credits too, due to our kids having a 1 credit meal and us having a 2 credit meal one night. What we did was DH and I paid for our meals at the least expensive restaurant we went to, which was ESPN. He had a burger and I had nachos. We love the food there and were planning to go there anyway, it just turned out to be the one we paid for since it was the least expensive.

The waiter even let the kids order adult desserts with their plan credits. He gave them the hockey puck as one of their options and they both jumped on it. DH and I were happy to share those with them. ;)

There did end up being some confusion with our credits as we were charged more than we should have been and credited back the wrong amount, etc... In the end the waiter and manager took care of everything with no problems and it worked out just fine. :thumbsup2

How about Chef Mickey for breakfast on your last day? At this time, credits are not separated by age (adult/ child). You may or may not have success trying to pay for the adults and using the credits for the children. Some cast members are running the DDP through for the adult meals and charging the guest OOP for the kids meals. If that happens, consider it a little disney magic.

I would go to Beaches 'n' Cream....the atmosphere is great and it's very inexpensive. The ice cream desserts are big too, so you could definitely share there.

A late lunch could be a good idea too. Yacht club galley has decent lunch prices.

I vote Beaches and Cream also. When we went in July we had an OOP meal there. I personally can't see using the dining plan there. We generally dine there twice per trip and the highest our bill has been was around $75. And we have two teen boys. No one in our group can eat a mudslide or no way jose by themselves and with the dining plan you would have 4 dessert credits. We never order an appetizer there either so its a place we enjoy but always use cash.

ESPN is another good option. When we dine there we only get 1 appetizer to share and everybody gets burgers. And the desserts are less than stellar there so we don't order them anymore when dining at ESPN. So that meal doesn't run over $75 either.

How about Rose and Crown for lunch? Nearly all the adult entrees are under $15 each. This is a favorite place for our children also. We have always had excellent service here and enjoy the food. The deserts are good and you can easily share.
Sit out on the patio and you will have a beautiful view of the world showcase and maybe even be treated to music from Off Kilter or British Invasion while you enjoy your meal.
