Least crowded times at TS restaurants?

Good day to you all. We're going to try the dining plan for the first time on our next trip after New Year's. We haven't been to many TS restaurants, so we don't have any particular choices of where we "have" to eat. Can anyone give me suggestions on where/when to go to particular TS restaurants when they're the least crowded? DH is pretty leery of some of the stories on this board where posters said it took 3 hours for dinner . . . that would probably cause him to walk out.

Any thoughts? When? Where?

Can't help with the DDP "credits" business but at most TS spots, we've found it's least crowded when they first open for dinner. Which is 5:00 PM for some and 6:00 PM for others.

we always get the first seating for either lunch or dinner at TS - the restaurant is just filling up, as opposed to being in full swing - at home, we usually eat early anyway, so this works for us (11 am lunch, 4pm dinner - when you wake up at 430am each day, these times are good!)
