Least Crowded Time Of Year

We've been to DLR in several off-seasons and here are our experiences:

Early Dec. - we hit Candlelight Processional and Cast Member Christmas Parties, much more crowded than I expected it to be and was disappointed by that. Weather was high 60's.

Early March - slow on Tues - Thurs. until Thurs. evening when crowds began to really build and Fri. was packed. There were also a LOT of school groups. Bands, choirs and some cheerleaders. Weather was mid 70's.

Early Sept. after Labor Day - beautiful weather, low, low crowds, shorter park hours and no school groups. Weather was mid 80's. HM and IASW were closed.

First week of Nov. - our most favorite trip. Low, low crowds, shorter park hours, no school groups and we saw Halloween decorations and then some Christmas decorations going up during our week there. Weather was high 70's, mid 80's. Even though the park hours were short we still got everything done and more during our time there. Our DS 7 did CS 15 times in 3 days and we rarely had to wait more than 10 minutes for anything. We also hardly ever used FP's. We did collect them for Space and IJ and BTMRR because we love to ride in the dark - but we probably could have done without them. The only ride closures were SMGG to change back to SM (1 day) and IASW wasn't open with the Christmas overlay which was too bad because I love it at Christmas.

Hi my wife and I always wanted to go to disneyland but have never gone.We have been to disneyworld 15+ times. We like to go when the crowds are down and the prices are better. What time of year would that be?Thinking about the grand californian if we go as we know it will probably be a one time trip. What does everyone think would be the best for both price and crowds?

I would say after "stuff" Right after Thanksgiving, Right after spring break Right after Christmas

Well definitely not "right afte Christmas" as that is THE most crowded time of the year. But after New Years the crowds do die down. :thumbsup2

I meant after the Chistmas season. Guess I should have been more specific. AFTER the stuff comes down in Janurary, so mid January :santa:
